My life according to pictures - 1st Half of the year 2014

I know its too late but I found this in my draft folder. Haha! So I just need to publish this. I think the 2nd half of the year 2014 deserves a post as well, but then I may be too lazy to write about it then.

*****************

I have been an ardent user of Instagram. I think it's one of the coolest applications ever made. Haha! It has become my online tool to make up for my short memory. Lol. And because I have abandoned this blog for the past few months, I thank IG for keeping track of the memories.

Let me give you a peek into what my timeline looks like and what really happened in real life. Below are some of the pictures that I posted for the past n months and the story behind it. I couldn't post all haha, it might take me months to finish this blog if I do. Lol.

This is one of the rare times I ask myself, "Bakit ba ko nagMBA?! Eh di sana natutulog lang ako ngayon" oh well...pinili ko to eh. Aja! I can do this! #mbalife #delayedgratification

I took the hardest (so far) subject of the MBA program last January and it made me ask myself "huhu bat ko ba pinapahirapan sarili ko?!" Lol. It's the only subject that I took that made me read and re-read the book a hundred times, okay that's an exaggeration. But seriously, ask any La Salle MBA student what's the hardest subject aside from Strama and Finman would be the answer. Glad I passed it with flying colors!

to the guy who woke up at 3am just to personally deliver this white rose on Valentines at 5:30 in the morning... to the guy who always piss me off by waking me up at 5:30am everyday of my life (and he knows I'm not a morning person)... no words can describe how much happy I am because of you.

This is sooooo kesooo. Haha! I'm not a morning person but I'm happy my better half (naks) is. He woke up so early just to make sure that he'll be the first one to greet me "Happy hearts day!!" with matching white rose on Valentines. Thank you! Thank you! I'm one lucky girl.

post-Valentine's date at PNKY Cafe

Last February, my family and I went to Baguio to join the Panagbengga Festival. Boyfie and I snuck some time together to have a date at famous PNKY cafe.

my new corporate profile pic! :) #redefiningstandards

This picture was taken during AXA's pictorial for the Sales Convention.  They hired professional makeup artists and photographers for this shoot. Thank you AXA. I honestly think it's a great company to work with. Oha, I look sooo... demure hahaha!

my first #ootd post haha! - ocular visit at Sofitel yay!

I just had to take this picture because I love the feels of my skirt, or was it pants? Hahaha! This was taken at Sofitel -- my favorite hotel so far! We've done our ocular visit for my oh-so-distant wedding. And yeah, we got some free vouchers at Vietura which is located inside Sofitel. Sorry guys, this was a big deal for a regular folk like me. Hahaha!

Happy happy birthday to my loves :)

Celebrated Marion's birthday at Aristocrat with his family. I'm glad he was surprised with the sudden singing of the crew. Haha, my bad I wasn't able to take a video of it.

Of all the companies I've worked with, I think AXA knows how to throw a good party/event.

This was my workstation in AXA. I've been with the company for only 5 months.
Celebrating our anniversary at Sofitel. Yay!!!

It's that time of the year again...

... when I'm seeing fellow DLSU MBA students taking their Oral Comprehensive Exam (OCE) -- and this time, they are my batchmates who are on to their last hurdle before getting that title. I feel so happy for them. After almost three years, those sleepless nights and sacrifices finally paid off. I feel sad at the same time, thinking that I could have been one of them as well. I've been wanting so badly to finish school. But due to circumstances such as personal choice of getting specialization (additional 6 units), taking only one subject last term because of work and being unfortunate to be affected by the shift in academic calendar, I will be taking my OCE next year. *sigh*

When I started my MBA, I calculated the number of  years I should be able to finish it. I painstakingly took three subjects in the past just so I can finish it before the academic calendar shift but then, things didn't happen as planned.

I'll be enjoying a long break -- no more classes until August. Should be given a choice, I would have wanted to finish graduate school this year. But then, as they say... I'll have my own time.

Congratulations batchmates -- Greggie, Bjorn, Grace, Abbey, PD, Mike and Astrid. You all deserved it!

My fellow Iska, Yza and Ge, we can do this together! Let's just enjoy our loooong vacation and the remaining terms before we face the dreaded OCE. I haven't heard anyone who failed OCE this term unlike last term when a lot of people failed it. I'm sure that when it's our time, we will pass it with flying colors.

I know it's not all about the title -- it's about the lessons I've learned and the friendships I've built. In God's time, I'll have that elusive title. :)
