Being busy is a blessing

"Being busy is a blessing." Repeat to self one thousand  one million times. So, for the past few weeks I've been getting only at most 5 hours of sleep. It is my second term in Graduate School and mehhnnn, ang hirap pala talaga! For this term, just because I'm feeling brave and matalino, I took the subjects below:

BUSINESS LAW.
BUSINESS ECONOMICS.
 FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING.

Wow. What have I gotten myself into?!?! Haha!

I used to hate my Business Law class. Emphasis on the word "used to". NO. It's not because we're required to read 60-page multiplied by 5 cases as assignment and it's not because I really don't have any background or any law subjects during my undergrad. So imagine how clueless I am when the professor talks about quo warranto, certiorari, mandamus, and whatever nosebleed law terms. It's because my professor comes in very late for class (like one hour late or more) - not just once but 4 times already (since we already had 4 meetings since the term started) .We only have 3 hours and 15 minutes for every class, 14 meetings in one sem. If the prof's going to be late for an hour every time we have class, for fourteen meetings, that would be 14 hours at the minimum which is equivalent to almost 5 meetings!!! 14 - 5 = 9 so we will only have accumulated of 9 meetings for the term. My gaaaaaawwwwwd I'm so geeky - talagang nagcompute?!? Hahaha! Namaaaan. Financial Accounting. Look what you've done to meeeee. But seriously, that's the reason why I used to hate my Law class. Imagine ke-mahal ng tuition tapos ganon?!?! Sayang ang aking opportunity cost (hahaha gusto ko lang talaga gamitin ang term na yun, not sure if I used it correctly. Parang hindi ata so I must now study Economics). Anyway, well...I used to hate the class as I've said. I even considered dropping the subject. But I was able to talk with my professor and she was able to explain the reason for her tardiness. Hay. I don't want to elaborate the reason here, but yeah, as a good and understanding person, I actually pitied her - well actually we (my classmates and I) all pitied her. I know how stressful it is for her to take the job. But I do hope she'll be able to find a way on how to manage it for the coming class meetings.
And yeah, I seldom rant about class, school or my subjects. I'm not really the grade conscious type. But since I'm paying for my tuition now, ganon pala feeling nun - Mawalan lang ng klase dahil sa kapupot na ulan, nagaamok na ko, tipong masamang masama na talaga loob ko at naluluha luha na ko sa lungkot, Okay, medyo OA yung naluluha luha pero you should get my point haha (It happened last term. Actually, typhoon signal number 3 na nun so classes were really suspended ) Wahaha! Tuition is my motivation. Naks rhyming. Hahaha! So I can't afford not to learn something!!! Heck I don't care about the grades as long as I learn something. Naks. Very mature of me. Back in college, I'd pick professors who give easy exams and who doesn't teach much but still give good  high grades. Now that I'm in Grad school, getting a high grade is just a bonus. The important thing is I get the most out of the course I enrolled for.
As I've said, I enrolled three subjects for this term. I had to adjust my work schedule during Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays so that I won't be late for my classes. I was allowed to work from 7:30am and leave the office at 4:30pm. Doing so would mean waking up at 4:30am just to leave the house at 5:30 am. And because I have classes at night which usually finishes at 9:30pm, I'll get home at 11:30pm. And because I have to study, I usually sleep at 1am. So hello eyebags!!! Hinding hindi kita kinakahiya kasi pinagpuyatan kita!!! Wahahahaha! So that has been my routine since the start of the school term. I have to read a lot of case digests, understand the Constitution and the Civil code, match debit with credit, analyze the Accounting principles, evaluate demand and supply, memorize economic terms and whole lot more. Well, you can add my usual workload in the office too. I have to let go of my trip to Korea, too. Pffffft. Of all the dates, why?!?!? Why do you have to fall on the exact day of our midterm exams? Hayyy. And oh..why??? why??? why does Valentines day have to fall on the exact day as my Law midterms exam or was it the other way around? Haha! Why does my Law midterms exam day have to fall on a Valentines day?!?!?! Shocks. If it was 2011 or 2012, I really wouldn't mind but it's Valentines 2013 at may date akooooooo. Hahahaha! Oh nooooo my boyfie was forced to wait for me again..Hay. Nakakahiya na talaga sakanya. Haha! He was actually thrilled at the idea, and he even have the guts to joke 'Baby, okay lang na antayin kita no. Kaw pa. Saka ayaw mo nun, by 10pm, I'm sure wala na masyado tao sa Jollibee. Tapos na magdate lahat ng tao'. Hahahaha! Kainis lang humirit. Sa Jollibee talaga ko ide-date?!?!? Hahaha!  I love him to bits. Why not sa 7-11 na lang kaya tutal yun lang ang bukas nang 24 hours?!? Hahaha! Oh no. Lagot if he got to read this - he might really take my suggestion seriously.

I'm not really complaining.... I'm just well, telling my story. Hahaha this is just Sorry-I-just-need-to-vent-out-but-now-I'm-okay post.
I'm not really complaining.... I'm actually thankful because...being busy is a blessing.

Thank God it's Saturday. :D
